Watercolor Plein air Workshop: New York – April 27 – April 30

I will be in New York for the week of April 27 – April 30 and would like to invite you to think about a painting holiday.. I will be offering a painting workshop during those dates in New York City’s Central Park. I will be staying at the Upper Westside Y where one can cross the street and be in Central Park. Central park offers a great deal to the plein air painter:  fountains, bridges and lakes, wonderful landscaping with tree and stone all envisioned by local landscape architect Fredrick Olmstead. Then of course the backdrop to all of this is the New York skyline! . Our days will include a painting excursion in the morning, at time for lunch and relax, another painting excursion in the afternoon.  In the late afternoon there will be a wine and cheese critique of the days work followed by dinner in the surrounding bistros and restaurants. As an added attraction the American Watercolor Society will be presenting their annual show at the Salamagundi club – Lets GO!

My fee for the week – 4 days of painting together – will be $280 from each artist – no charge for companions. Each participant will be responsible for their transportation and accommodations.
For many reasons it is easier to stay together at the same hotel but If you choose a different one than mine try to get a hotel that is close.
Artists can secure a spot with the $280 fee.
Artists will be limited to 10
