"If my ship sails from sight, it doesn't mean my journey ends, it simply means the river bends." — Enoch Powell

The class structure is pretty simple. I will start each class with a short talk or presentation on the weeks subject - following this I will begin the demonstration, paced to allow the students to draw along. We continue drawing together for about 1 hour. Upon finishing the drawing I will take time to answer questions and offer advice until the class ends. During the week we share our drawings and correspond through a site called cluster - it is here I can give you more feedback and advice.

we use cluster to present our class exercise  and our homework...we can also post comments and questions that come up after class finishes. This way we keep the subject alive during the week. I also point out strengths and our weakness and just talk about the process of drawing together with you. Eventually this will result in you getting more out of me more out of the class.

The most important part of this session is what you do between classes.
I have created a homework assignment for each week to stimulate your imagination and it is my hope you will carve out a little time between classes to do some drawing. I can guarantee

This class is offered through Kaji Aso Studio - Institute for the Arts
