Hill Towns was developed as part of a class - The Textures of Tuscany...I found revisiting this image 3 or 4 times made me more aware of the drama I could establish working wet into wet with sepia.
I am please with the warmth and the brush economy. These combine to give the scene more atmosphere and light than the photo carried.
