I was lucky to be one of attendees for the Cannon Beach portion! It was awesome, I had been to Cannon Beach in 2018 and knew of its magic and beauty….but painting just feet from the base of this majestic rock was surreal - attempting to capture the energy on paper! The feel and mood of this beach town is a one of freedom and a kind of exaltation. We painted on the beach most days, one day at Ecola lookout with a view so fabulous it looked like a postcard. Gary’s calm and easy way with the brush, his eye for simplifying and expert knowledge inspired all of us. What an exhilarating and joyful week!! ❤️
